Taipei, April 29 (CNA) Philip Yang, a former senior advisor at Taiwan's National Security Council from 2008-2010, has been appointed by Premier Wu Den-yih to replace Johnny Chiang as the new minister of the Government Information Office (GIO) , government sources said Friday.
