President directs formation of power transition team: spokesman

President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) directed Presidential Office Secretary-General Tseng Yung-chuan (曾永權) on Monday, the first working day after Taiwan concluded the presidential and legislative elections on Jan. 16, to form a task force to prepare for the political transition, Presidential Office spokesman Charles Chen (陳以信) said.
