Taipei, Oct. 13 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose sharply against the Taiwan dollar Monday, gaining NT$0.151 to close at the day's high of NT$30.696.
Turnover totaled US$1.735 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at the day's low of NT$30.570 and momentum increased into the end of the session.
