Taipei, June 16 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.148 to close at NT$29.520.
Turnover totaled US$1.094 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$29.650, and moved between NT$29.494 and NT$29.660 before the close.
