Suppliers to follow TSMC's U.S. plans but may be years away: MOEA head

Taiwanese suppliers to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) are expected to follow the contract chipmaker's step to invest in the United States but their relocation may be seven to eight years away, Economics Minister Kuo Jyh-huei (郭智輝) said Tuesday.
