Taiwan shares end lower ahead of U.S. nonfarm payroll data

Shares in Taiwan closed lower Friday for a fourth straight trading session ahead of the release of December nonfarm payroll data in Washington, data that could hint at future moves by the U.S. Federal Reserve, dealers said.
