Taiwan shares end slightly down as tech sector sees profit-taking

Shares in Taiwan reversed an earlier uptrend to close slightly lower Monday as the bellwether electronics sector saw their gains eroded amid concerns the U.S. will tighten controls on chip sales to China, dealers said.
