Science parks show no signs of major layoffs, employment up 3% in H1

The three main science-based parks in Taiwan have seen no major layoffs with employment in the first half of this year rising about 3 percent from a year earlier, despite Taiwan's exports being impacted by weakening global demand, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) said Wednesday.
