VIA Technologies to pay NT$162 million to settle business dispute

Taiwan-based fabless IC designer VIA Technologies, Inc. will pay NT$162 million (US$5.73 million) to United Communications (Holding) Corp. (UCC) registered in the Cayman Islands to settle a long-standing business dispute between the two companies, VIA said Monday.
