TSMC continues to expand capacity with Tainan factory purchase

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, announced Thursday it has spent NT$860 million (US$28.89 million) purchasing a factory in the Southern Taiwan Science Park in Tainan.
