Taiwan's manufacturing activity expands for 5th consecutive month

Taiwan's manufacturing activity expanded for the 5th consecutive month in July, raising the chances of the local economy growing by 1 percent, the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER, 中經院) said Monday.
