Lin Chuan (林全), director of New Frontier Foundation (新境界基金會) under the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), said on Friday that if the party wins the upcoming presidential election, it will actively push Taiwan to join the U.S.-backed free-trade group Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).
