Scholar cautions edge lost in delay of Taiwan-China pact

An economist urged Sunday the swift passage through the Legislature of a service trade deal Taiwan and China signed in June, warning that the advantages Taiwan could enjoy from inking a deal earlier than its trade rivals could diminish over time.
