Taipei, June 29 (CNA) The Central Weather Bureau lifted a sea warning for Tropical Storm Doksuri Friday morning, but warned of possible heavy rainfall in eastern and southern Taiwan until Saturday.
Increasing winds and high seas are also likely in coastal areas due to the influence of Doksuri's outer rim, the bureau said.
A more stable weather pattern is expected next week, which might send daily highs between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius and cause occasional afternoon showers across the island, the bureau said.
As of 8:30 a.m. Friday, Doksuri was centered 120 kilometers east of Taiwan's outlying Dongsha Islands.
It was moving at a speed of 23 km per hour in a west-northwesterly direction and packing maximum sustained winds of 83 kph, with gusts reaching 108 kph.
