Pegatron defends practices at Shanghai plant in wake of deaths

Taiwan-based Pegatron Corp., which has been accused of fostering a harsh working environment at its Shanghai complex, said Friday that working conditions at the facility were as good as in Taiwan's Hsinchu Science Park.
