Taiwan floats showcase culture, LGBTQ+ visibility at U.S. Pride events

Taiwan joined Pride events in San Francisco and New York City on Sunday (local time), with government-sponsored floats showcasing local culture, tourism and LGBTQ+ visibility. A Taiwan-themed float made its SF Pride Parade debut, while another featuring Taiwanese drag star Nymphia Wind brought Taiwan’s “betel nut beauty” culture to the NYC Pride March.
