Cabinet pledges US$1.5 billion to expand welfare services for disabled people

Taiwan's Cabinet on Thursday approved a plan to spend NT$48 billion (US$1.5 billion) in the next five years to provide more care facilities for individuals with disabilities and raise the minimum wage for social workers and caregivers.
