ROAD SAFETY/Ministry decides making motorists stop for all pedestrians 'too strict'

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) on Thursday U-turned on plans to require motorists to fully stop for all pedestrians on crosswalks, describing the proposals as "too strict."
