Taiwan sets new goal of cutting emissions by 23%-25% by 2030

Taiwan aims to reduce emissions by 2030 by 23 percent to 25 percent compared with 2005, although it is pursuing the goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, the National Development Council said Wednesday at a press conference.
