After 3 decades of stops and starts, Kinmen Bridge opens to traffic

The Kinmen Bridge opened to traffic Sunday, bringing to an end a seemingly interminable saga of controversy, delays, contractor issues and technical challenges that had plagued the ambitious project first proposed nearly three decades ago.
