CORONAVIRUS/Taiwan reports five new COVID-19 cases, zero deaths
Taipei, Sept. 13 (CNA) Taiwan reported five new COVID-19 cases -- two transmitted domestically and three contracted overseas -- and no deaths from the disease on Monday, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
One of the domestic cases was in Taoyuan, while the other in New Taipei, the CECC said.
Of the three new imported cases, two involved Taiwanese nationals who recently returned from the United States, while one was a citizen of Japan.

No new deaths from the disease were recorded on Monday, the CECC said.
To date, 839 people have died of COVID-19 in Taiwan, including 827 since May 15.
