Hand skin temperature devices not for formal use as thermometer: TFDA

Those who sell devices that take the temperature of one's skin and claim they can detect fevers are breaking the law and could be fined up to NT$25 million (US$892,860), Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) said Monday.
