New Taipei offering some families NT$10,000 stipend in COVID relief

Families registered as residents of New Taipei City whose average monthly household income is less than NT$39,000 (US$1,407) per person will be entitled to receive a one-time emergency living allowance of NT$10,000 per household, if they meet certain conditions, the city government said on Friday.
