Request filed to detain city councilors over public fund embezzlement

Prosecutors on Wednesday requested the detention of Taipei City Councilor Pan Huai-tsung (潘懷宗) and New Taipei City Councilor Tseng Huan-chia (曾煥嘉) on suspicion of embezzlement of public funding budgeted to pay for their assistants.
