Factory boss, owner to pay NT$1.4 million in case of fatal fire

District prosecutors said Tuesday that they have reached a deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) with the boss and owner of a factory in Taoyuan, who will pay the government a total of NT$1.4 million, in a 2017 case involving the deaths of six migrant workers in a factory fire.
