Shihmen Reservoir water level rising, drought remains

Drought-affected Taoyuan, a municipality in northern Taiwan, received some much-needed rain Friday, which helped raise the water level of its main Shihmen Reservoir (石門水庫), a little, to 22.68 percent of its capacity as of noon.
