Cicada fungus successfully developed in laboratory

An associate professor in central Taiwan has successfully developed a labratory method of growing Ophiocordyceps sobolifera, or cicada fungus, a cicada-killing parasite used in traditional Chinese medicine, in a much shorter time than it grows in the wild.
