Taiwan won't resume ties with Nicaragua unless leader steps down: Diplomat

One of Taiwan's top diplomats said Wednesday that Taipei is unlikely to consider resuming its diplomatic relations with Nicaragua unless the authoritarian leader, President Daniel Ortega, has stepped down from office.
