Legislative by-election to fill Chiang's slot slated for Jan. 8: CEC

The Central Election Commission (CEC) said Friday that a legislative by-election will be held on Jan. 8, 2023 to fill the seat left vacant by Chiang Wan-an (蔣萬安), who resigned as a legislator on Nov. 10 to focus on the upcoming Taipei mayoral election.
