KMT urges government to halt construction on controversial LNG project

Kuomintang (KMT) legislators on Thursday urged the government to halt all construction on a controversial liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal project, after a petition supporting a nationwide referendum on the project recorded enough signatures, pending ratification, to go ahead in August.
