International community praises Lee Teng-hui's contribution to democracy

The international community mourned the passing of Taiwan's former president Lee Teng-hui (李登輝) Thursday, who succumbed to multiple organ failure at the age of 97, and lauded him for his role in leading Taiwan onto the path of democracy.
