U.S. midterm election results won't affect Taiwan: MOFA

A number of pro-Taiwan senators and congresspeople have won re-election during the just-concluded U.S. midterm elections, meaning that the election results will not affect the overall Taiwan-friendly sentiment in the U.S. Congress, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said Thursday.
