Taiwan-China hotline not in use: MAC chief

The hotline set up between Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) and China's Taiwan Affairs Office (TAO) is currently not in use, but communication between the two sides on a joint crime-fighting agreement remains uninterrupted, officials said Thursday.
