Tsai promises to boost cross-strait exchanges, communication

President-elect Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) said Wednesday that her administration will step up exchanges and communication with the Chinese government and will commit to maintaining peaceful and stable relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
