Huang Min-hui (黃敏惠), acting chairperson of the ruling Kuomintang (KMT), made a move Wednesday to bid for the chairmanship of the party, to replace Eric Chu (朱立倫) who resigned as KMT leader earlier this month after he lost the presidential election.
