Hung withdrawal from presidential race ruled out by KMT official

Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱), the presidential candidate of the ruling Kuomintang (KMT), has not withdrawn from the race, a senior party official said late Wednesday after Hung announced a suspension of her campaign.
