Taiwan to mark allied victory in World War II with activities

Taipei, March 9 (CNA) A series of activities will be held between July 7 and Oct. 25 to mark the 70th anniversary of the allied victory over Japan in World War II and highlight the Republic of China's role and significance in the war, Executive Yuan spokesman Sun Lih-chyun (孫立群) said Monday.
