Taiwan probing source of 'false rumor' about bioweapon against China

Law enforcement officers in Taipei are investigating the source of a "false rumor" that alleged Academia Sinica was collecting blood samples from Taiwanese citizens to help the United States produce a bioweapon capable of killing Chinese nationals, the Taipei City Police Department said Saturday.
