New TAO head shows China more focused on Taiwan issue: scholar

The recent appointment of Song Tao (宋濤) as director of China's Taiwan Affairs Office (TAO) showed that Beijing is giving an even higher priority to Taiwan affairs, Chang Wu-ueh (張五岳), an expert on cross-Taiwan Strait relations, told CNA.
