KMT leader pitches for advisory committee on cross-strait policy

Chairman of the opposition Kuomintang (KMT) Johnny Chiang (江啟臣), who is seeking re-election in September, put forth a proposal Wednesday for the establishment of a committee that would advise the party on its cross-strait policies.
