Ex-SEF vice chairman to become KMT's China affairs chief

Kao Koong-lian (高孔廉), former vice chairman of the semi-official Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), has been named director of the ruling Kuomintang's (KMT's) Mainland Affairs Department, the party announced Wednesday.
