Taipei, Sept. 9 (CNA) Delta Electronics Inc., a leading power management solution provider in Taiwan, reported Monday that its August sales hit a record high for the second straight month on the back of strong global demand for artificial intelligence applications.
In a statement, Delta said consolidated sales rose to NT$47.86 billion (US$1.57 billion) in August, up 5.4 percent from July's previous high of NT$45.40 billion and 26.7 percent from a year earlier.
For the first eight months of 2025, consolidated sales grew 24.6 percent year-on-year to NT$336.21 billion, the company said.
Delta attributed the growth to sustained demand for AI servers, with power management solutions and related electronic components making up 52 percent of August sales.
Its infrastructure division, boosted by liquid cooling equipment for data centers, contributed 32 percent, while automation and transportation made up 9 percent and 5 percent, respectively.
At a July investor conference, Delta Chairman Cheng Ping (鄭平) said he was positive that the company will continue growing in the second half of the year.
On Tuesday, Delta shares soared 7.99 percent to close at NT$784.00 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange following the strong August results.
In a separate statement, Delta said it plans to invest 3.42 billion Thai baht (US$108.15 million) through its Thai subsidiary to build three plants in Thailand.
Local news media said the aim was to expand infrastructure capacity for data centers and strengthen its foothold in Southeast Asia.
