COST OF LIVING/CPI growth in 2023 hits 2nd highest level in 15 years

Taiwan's consumer price index (CPI) rose 2.50 percent in 2023, the second highest level in 15 years and well above the 2 percent alert set by the central bank, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Friday.
