Industrial production dips for 17th straight month in October

Industrial production in Taiwan declined for the 17th consecutive month in October, the longest year-on-year falling streak in history, as continued weakness in global consumer demand took its toll on the export-oriented economy, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Thursday.
