10 factories in Southern Taiwan Science Park hit by electricity glitch

An extra-high-voltage electrical substation in Tainan was hit by a mechanical breakdown Monday evening, leading to a sudden pressure drop at several substations in Tainan and Kaohsiung, affecting 10 factories in the Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP).
