Eslite bookstore confirms closure of Xinyi branch in December

Eslite Spectrum Corp., which runs the popular Eslite bookstore chain in Taiwan, confirmed Tuesday that its 24-hour branch in Taipei's upscale Xinyi District will close in December 2023 after failing to convince its landlord to extend the existing lease.
