Taipei, Dec. 6 (CNA) The U.S dollar rose significantly against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.183 to close at NT$30.638.
Turnover totaled US$1.065 billion during the trading session.
The greenback opened at NT$30.520, and moved between NT$30.480 and NT$30.648 before the close.
