Industrial production rises for 24th straight month in January

Industrial production in Taiwan increased by 10 percent in January from a year earlier, marking the 24th consecutive month of year-on-year growth, during a period when the semiconductor industry's manufacturing capacity has been fully utilized amid strong global demand, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Wednesday.
