Number of atypical workers sees 1st drop in 9 years

The number of people in atypical employment in May dropped by 20,000 from a year earlier, the first fall in nine years, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an annual survey released Thursday by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS).
