MediaTek ranked 4th largest IC designer worldwide, Novatek No. 8

MediaTek Inc., a smartphone chip designer from Taiwan, was the fourth largest integrated circuit designer worldwide in the first quarter of this year, as the company saw its revenue rise slightly from a year earlier, according to the Taipei-based Topology Research Institute.
